We are a third generation family company,
the first in the island of Crete who introduce
the organic grape cultivation and one of the
few wineries in Greece with a vertical
organization of its production process! We
cultivate six unique indigenous and five first
class international varieties using the latest
organic techniques, and we believe that we
can inspire through a series of products with
a strong personality.

Deep red with a few bricked colored hues
AROMA: 
Leather, fruit marmalade & cinnamon
Palate: 
Flavor of oak, earth and spices
Maturation: 
Drink now or cellar for up to 6 years
Great With: 
Roasted, tomato-based and wine sauce dishes. Served at 16-18°C

Melissinos red

Grape Variaties: 
100% Syrah

Dry Red Wine, P.G.I. CRETE

Middle of August

Colour: 
Deep purple with ruby hues
AROMA: 
Red fruit, chocolate & coffee
Palate: 
Full body, spicy & fruity
Maturation:

Great With: 
Grilled meats, hunting game dishes, barbecue, spicy steaks, pasta with hot sauces and ripe cheeses. Served at 17-18°C

Medium body with delicate tannins and flavors of tobacco and spices

Great With: 
Roasted, grilled red meat dishes and spicy meat plates. Served at 17-18°C

VIDIANO

100% Vidiano
Classification: 
Dry White Wine, P.G.I. CRETE
Harvest: 
Middle of August
Region:

Colour: 
Brilliant yellow with greenish hues
AROMA: 
Fruity peach and apricot
Palate: 
Creamy, with pleasant acidity and a long aftertaste
Maturation: 
Drink now or cellar for up to 4 years
Great With: 
Fatty fish, white meat, pasta with creamy sauce and medium spicy cheeses. Served at 10-12°C

Melissinos Rose

Brilliant rose with purple hues

Velvet full body, with a dominant caramel flavor

White meat with sauces, Cretan pies, spaghetti with seafood, soft cheese and sausages. Served at 12-14°C

Yellow with light green hues
AROMA:

Vivid, with pleasant acidity and a delightful after taste
Maturation: 
Drink now or cellar for up to 2 years
Great With: 
Fresh fish and sea food dishes, lightly cooked. Served at 8-11°C.

Moschato Spinas

Colour: 
Light white yellow
AROMA: 
White flowers, fresh rose petals, jasmine and violet
Palate: 
Dominant Muscat sweet notes

Nuts, fruits, light meals of delicate flavors, or used as an aperitif. Served at 8-10°C

Melissinos white
